Um, so defensively, uh, slaughter keen, he, he led you guys in tackles, he's back, obviously. And then we, then we've got probably, you know, seven or eight with, you know, really good play time, but only 52 starters back. So if you had to put a number on it, how many starters are back on the offense offense? I think 55 starters. That's, I mean, he's just dominated the weight room done really, really well and we feel like those young guys, we got him enough playing time last year to be able to step in. Um, Jack Reeves is another guy, young sophomore. The good thing is the bad thing last year is we had a lot of injuries on the line and the good thing is those younger guys got to step up like Nelson Barrett and those guys get to step up. So we're really, uh, counting on some younger guys to step up. He's a senior but he was hurt most of last year. Uh, at this point, um, tell me about that, that front line though, how many guys are back from, from that offensive line? Well, uh, Lyles is back at center. Yeah, those skills, skill positions are definitely what stands out to me. So we feel like we have a great combination of speed and power back there. So we feel like we've got that thunder and lightning situation and, uh, you know, we got Kamal Thames who can play anything on the football field, you'll see him at running back and, uh, Rashid Jones at Z who will hit that Z sweep with. People didn't realize that and then Kenyon is maybe the, the shorter guy, but, you know, bulky and he loves contact. Uh, we played them at, you know, split them out a lot. Jonathan to be as big as he is, has the best hands probably on the football team. Um, the sky is the limit and they both give you a little bit of different things. And so I give them all nicknames and, uh, those two guys, um, are very, very talented. Yeah, we got, we nicknamed him two K because I get tired of saying all those old names. So, uh, I think Jonathan Higgins Simmons and then the other guy, I mean, this name is just amazing. We have two good running backs, both with pretty cool lanes. So I think, I think there's less of the, uh, less of the question market running back. So, um, we feel like the, the battle will only make both of them better and whoever comes out on top or if we have to play both of them, you know, we just feel like, uh, we feel like we're in a good situation. Um, and they're also really, really, really hard workers. Both these guys are as good a young man as you'd ever wanna be, uh, you know, lead your team. So he's a dual threat quarterback, gonna be a senior, uh, worked really hard, um, has gotten so much better under, uh, the coach Van has done a great job with him and then we have a rising sophomore, Jacob Moore who is, you know, been lights out. He was so good, had five touchdowns against Scotland in the playoff game. Um, well, actually we had a package for him. We've got, uh, what Jalen Wright who backed up. Um So who's gonna be the next guy out there? You're thinking? Yeah, I got great competition. Like 3000 passing guards in high school has always been impressive.

So I think the uh the most uh like glaring question is gonna be at quarterback, uh Dante Garcia was just a tremendous player for you guys and the numbers he were, were ridiculous. So the best thing about it would be, you know, the preparation and the leadership that has stepped up that's, you know, gonna have to carry us through this year. We felt like that senior class did a great job of preparing these guys to lead. So we've been real pleased with, you know, with the guys that have slid in. Uh, what's kind of your feeling about the team? Uh, well, just, um, you know, it's early but we've, you know, we lift weights year round the spring, the juniors and the, you know what we call captains kind of take over. Um, I guess at this point in the offseason, we're talking in June. So, um, obviously 11 and three last year, but we did have 23 seniors from that team that graduated. Those games make you feel a little older. Makes the head coach a little older but the kids and the fans love it. You can't really beat the four games on Friday nights. Hey, Terry, uh, you know, there was a few, there was a few of them. Let see, Bruce mcclelland, head football coach, Terry Stanford High School, uh, coach 11 and three last year.
